Protective eyewear
is becoming more and more common in sports. And why shouldn’t
it? After all, many sports involve pucks, balls, sticks, and other
objects that could come hurdling toward your eyes at any time. Protective
eyewear should therefore be worn, for extra safety, in tennis, baseball,
racquetball, basketball, street/ice hockey, lacrosse, fencing, karate,
and other sports.
It is especially important to get younger athletes accustomed to
wearing protective eyewear. Protective eyewear is a very important
safety precaution – after all, all of us that have our eyesight
would prefer not to lose it, right?
It is becoming more and more popular to wear protective eyewear while
playing tennis. This only makes sense – you know how fast some
of those serves can come at you… now just think if one of those
serves got you in the eye! Encourage your children to wear protective
eyewear, and set a good example be wearing it yourself.
